Mama Made Visible : In studio
From what I have seen, moms are usually the ones taking hundreds of photos of their kids, but apart from the odd selfie, they are rarely in the photos themselves. I want to give moms an opportunity to get in front of the camera with their kids.
Rebecca hosts Mama Made Visible portrait days a few times a year. Moms can book a short (10-15min) slot to be photographed by her, in flattering natural light. It isn't very formal or over-posed, but rather a short & sweet time of connection for you and your child/ren. After the session you will receive a handful of beautiful digital images that will treasured by you, and your kids, for years to come – photos you can look back on when your kids are all grown up, and photos they will pull out when they are missing you.
The basic details:
Portrait sessions take place in a beautiful natural-light studio space in Cape Town. The exact address will be sent to you upon booking.
Each slot will be 10-15 mins long and in the three weeks following the shoot day you will receive a link to a gallery of at least 15 high resolution digital images that you can download to keep and print. The cost of these mini studio shoot is R1200.
How do I book?
Studio sessions are on hold for the time being. The next portrait day will be announced later in 2021.

What if I need to cancel?
I understand that sometimes life happens and you may need to cancel your slot – unfortunately we cannot offer refunds, but you are welcome to pass your slot onto someone else you know and have them pay you back – just let us know if this is the case so I know who to expect.
What should we wear?
Keep it relaxed and simple and wear something that makes you feel like yourself. Neutral and earthy tones work well, as do subtle patterns. Your clothing should not clash with each other, but aim for complementary rather than matching
How old should my child/ren be?
Any age!
