Shameem and Ighti
We loved...
...that 1. Shameem wore her mother’s wedding dress and she didn’t have to alter it even 1cm – it fit her like a glove. Amazingly, her sister wore this dress on her wedding day too (and also didn’t have to alter it), AND one of the guests at the wedding was the woman who made the dress 35 years ago. Now that is what we call heritage.
2. Shameem was possibly the most relaxed bride we have ever met. I have never seen someone so calm on their wedding day. Amazing!
3. When we were photographing them together, Shameem and Ighti barely noticed we were there – they were completely fixated with each other, they spontaneously laughed, kissed, snuggled and gazed at one another without any coaxing at all.
4. There were children in abundance at this wedding, which we love!
5. There was an amazing sense of community throughout the day – the love and support for Shameem and Ighti was tangible.
We are truly blessed to document love like this!
