Karen & Henry
We loved...
that Karen and Henry are the kind of people that make this job not feel like work at all. They are genuine, emotional, warm and kind and their wedding at Bon Cap in Robertson reflected this. We walked away from it feeling so blessed and we truly hope these photos bless them right back. Karen and Henry, we love you guys and we know that you have a long and happy marriage ahead of you. Thank you for this honour.
From the couple...

Becs and Bruce- you guys ROCK!!! It feels as though we are looking through works of art and we happen to be the subjects… I mean how cool is that! You captured some incredibly special moments and we are truly grateful. These images will hopefully last not one but many lifetimes as they get passed on through the generations :) Thank you for being a part of that special day-the beginning of our adventure together. I do have to share some behind the scenes info… firstly Becs was not only an awesome person to have around when getting ready, she was really helpful too. I kept asking her silly questions, like when to get dressed, and she was more than happy to share some of her wedding wisdom. The beautiful old coat hanger that the dress is on belongs to my ouma, who sadly could not attend the wedding. We really wanted to use it but the dress kept slipping off the rounded edges… but never fear… mother Goose took charge and armed with a bread knife cut slits in the hanger so the dress would stay put-haha! Large amounts of rescue remedy was consumed (mostly by my father) to help settle some excited and emotional nerves. Poor Henry had a very busy morning and did lots of running-in-a-round before the ceremony. In the mean time, his wife-to-be was at the hairdresser learning her vows (the hairdresser even helped me with my Afrikaans pronunciation). The days leading up to the wedding included a fight with a vending machine, a run around canal walk, steers, a lot of chalk, ridiculously cheap wedding newspaper prints, the tying of 100 bows, steers, ama-zingly helpful and wonderful friends and family, some sewing, the booking of a videographer (Henry phoned and booked them two days before the wedding-haha!), steers, a pinch of stress, a heap of fun and a truck load of love! Thank you to everyone who was a part of a fabulous day! We feel truly blessed :) Much love to you all xxx
